Acupuncture

Acupuncturists are trained professionals who are generally considered chiropractors. Acupuncture is a form of non-surgical alternative medicine, in the field of traditional Chinese medicine, and is credited to aid in the treatment of a wide variety of ailments including chronic pain, stress, anxiety, and more. Acupuncture treats pain and disease by inserting the tips of very thin needles into specific points on the skin. Although acupuncture is considered non-invasive, acupressure is generally considered less invasive than acupuncture. An acupuncturist's primary responsibility is to keep their client safe during the treatment process, keeping their tools and equipment clean and sterilized to prevent disease.
