Business coaches have been said to be like sporting coaches, pushing an athlete to their maximum performance, all the while giving them the training they need to become a better player. Business coaches are similar in that regard, pushing a business to achieve its maximized potential and giving it positive training and proven strategies for growth, efficiency, and building better business habits. Generally, business coaches help the owners of small and medium sized businesses accomplish sales, marketing, management, team building and a few other factors. Business coaches are also hired to help solve problems and overcome specific obstacles that a company is facing. Business coaches are generally private individual consultants who have had prior success and experience in the business world. Just like a regular sports coach, they are intimately familiar with the fundamentals of the game and what the field looks like.
