Computer Service and Repair
|
A computer repairer, or technician, is familiar with all the internal working components, or hardware, that cause a computer to function. They also have a comprehensive knowledge and understanding of major operating software, like Windows. Computer repairers must first diagnose the source of the problem, whether it be hardware malfunction or software breakdown, and come up with a solution accordingly.
Though computer repair isn't always cheap, often, clients who haven't properly done backup to their documents and data, which is common, need the assistance of a computer repair technician to restore blocked files. Often, computer technicians will be have expertise in hard drives and data recovery, the laptop or desktop itself not always salvageable, depending on the type of problem, whether hardware or software. Newer computers often come with warranties, and computer repair technicians often work for larger companies where the warranties were issued.
