Day Care Services
|
Day care workers are the professionals responsible for watching toddlers and small children, generally during the morning and afternoon while parents are away at work. Operating either out of a business location or a home, day care workers accept children from different parents and attend to their wide variety of needs throughout the day: feeding them with proper nutrition, playing with them, giving them naps, reading to them, changing diapers, and other reasonable activities, until the parent comes back in the afternoon to pick up their child.
Day care workers should be personable, nurturing, and should like children, and usually operate a normal working schedule from morning till early evening. Their main concern is with the safety and wellbeing of the various children, that they aren't being neglected, but are being cared for properly. They often have to deal with multiple children all at the same time, so keeping a sharp eye out for anything out of the ordinary can be a difficult thing to manage.
