Gutter Cleaning
|
Gutter cleaners have the task of removing blockage and clogging of rain gutters on residential homes and other buildings that direct rainfall from rooftops to the ground and away from buildings into drains, sewers, or open land. Each year, leaves, pine needles, twigs, and other debris gather inside rain gutters, becoming impediments that prevent the continuous flow and transfer of rainfall from the roof to the ground. Gutters are generally cleaned manually, by persons climbing up on ladders and scooping the debris out by hand.
Gutter cleaners will often clean a rain gutter system once a year, at the end of summer or fall, and will flush it out with water to ensure that no obstruction or blockage exists in the system. Sometimes, because of weather or other factors, a section of the gutter system will break or sag in such a way that it can no longer funnel water properly. When this happens, gutter cleaners will generally repair the broken system, or install new hardware.
