Movers

Professional movers specialize in transporting households from one location to another. Their main role is to safely remove all items from a home or office, and transfer them to a new destination, safe, fast, and unharmed, generally within a 50 mile radius of the original location. Movers are often physically fit, as moving large pieces of furniture can be quite labor intensive and physically exhausting. Most movers handle residential clients, but some movers specialize in commercial and industrial clients, using heavy duty equipment, such as fork lifts, to move large pieces of machinery and other things from one location to another. Residential movers often use only a few pieces of equipment, such as moving vans, dollies, ramps, and moving blankets to get their job accomplished. Mover's main objectives are speed, safety and dependability. In the case of large distances, movers may be hired to simply remove and load the items of a job, while other movers at the final location will take the items and move them into their final resting place.
