Oil Change
|
Oil and brake changers are expert specialists at replacing the oil and brakes on vehicles that often need more regular maintenance than most of the systems in vehicles. Often working as mechanics and technicians in shops, oil and brake changers also generally offer their services to come to the homes of their clients and do the work onsite.
Oil changes are generally done every three to five thousand miles on a car, and oil changers will both properly dispose of the old oil and oil filters, and install new oil and filters to vehicles. Brake changers will jack each car tires from the ground, remove the old brake pads and install new components, making sure that the system lines aren't spongy and have reengaged properly for use. In some cases, when the hydraulic fluid in the brake lines has gotten pocketed with air, brake changers will also bleed the old fluid from the system and pour new fluid in to ensure proper pressure. Brake fluid and oil both need to be disposed of in the proper manner, and oil and brake changers adhere to the proper regulations.
