Personal Assistant

Personal assistants can have a wide range of demands. Their responsibilities differ greatly depending on the needs of the individual they are assisting. Often their responsibilities involve simple tasks such as cleaning laundry, running errands, and transportation. More often, personal assistants are hired to fulfill more complex tasks, such as coordinating a schedule, functioning as a liason between their client and his/her associates, arranging flights and travel, or cooking meals. Personal assistants are often hired because of their organizational abilities and attention to detail. Personal assistants may be called upon to work nights, weekends, or even to perform 24 hour service, living on the residence or in the household of their client to be on call in case of emergencies. Personal assistants are generally very flexible and able to respond to a wide variety of different circumstances that may or may not arise. These kinds of expectations however, must be clearly stated in the terms of their agreement with their client.
