Pet Training
|
Pet care providers are individuals who provide proper care for the household animals in many homes, including dogs, cats, fish, hamsters, and more. Depending on their specialty, a pet care provider may perform a wide variety of tasks including walking, sitting, grooming and bathing, boarding, obedience training, and more. Pet care providers are often hired for brief periods of time, such as to watch pets for a week while their owner is away on vacation, or to give them regular training for a month until their behavior meets the expectations of their owners. Or they may assist owners on a routine basis by giving daily walks or monthly grooming.
Some pet care providers may operate out of a regular facility, such as pet groomers and pet boarders, but many pet care providers come to the homes of the pets. Depending on the needs of the clients and the specialty of the pet care provider, jobs may be simple and require little or no training, or may be very complex and time consuming.
