Photographers are professionals who produce and preserve images that capture a picture, tell a story, or record an event, such as a wedding, party, or other social gathering. To create photographs that are considered commercial quality, photographers need specialized equipment, technical expertise, and creativity. Creating a picture that's considered successful requires choosing and going after a particular effect, while using the right cameras, lighting, and other photographic enhancing tools to achieve it. Sometimes photographers prefer darker natural light to enhance a solemn mood. Other times they'll use a bright flash to showcase a cheery environment. Good photographs should create a feeling and tell or capture a story. Photographers are hired not only for their technical expertise, but more importantly for their artistic and creative ability to capture the mood and magic of important events and so to record them for a lifetime for their clients.
