Pond and fountain designers and installers are responsible for the creation of outdoor and indoor aquatic structures. Based upon the needs of each client, these professionals will create and install the systems that bring out the aesthetic beauty and peace of water environments. Office buildings often incorporate small ponds and fountains into their premises, as well as many homes and even restaurants.
Pond designers and installers will create ponds in a wide variety of shapes and sizes. They generally use a three tiered method, where the ground inside the pond has three distinct methods. Once the ground is dug and the dirt hauled away, they'll line the pond with plastic or other watertight material to prevent drainage, and a pump for liquid circulation, and the ponds are often filled with colorful fish, such as goldfish and koi, and aquatic plants.
Fountain designers and installers will either install a premade fountain, or will build a fountain out of brick or stone, depending on the needs and desires of their clients.
