Property Inspection
|
A property inspector is one who assesses the value of a property, both commercial and residential, based upon a number of predetermined factors and conditions. Property inspectors are tasked with an intricate knowledge of the aspects that affect the value of a piece of real estate. They are also tasked with an intricate knowledge of the codes that a building and property must adhere to, and to make thorough inspections based upon those codes, to identify potential breaches and hazards.
Property inspectors are often hired during construction projects to perform inspections as the different systems of a building are being erected. They perform unbiased and extensive inspections in structural integrity, electrical safety, spacing, foundation integrity and many other factors. In addition, property inspectors are also often hired by homeowners for appraising the value of a house, in order to sell it or refinance it based upon its equity.
