Senior Companion Assistant

Senior companion assistants are trained support professionals who assist seniors in the daily activities of their lives. Often, when persons get to a certain age, they find difficulty managing the daily tasks they once used to perform with ease. In order to continue to live independently and maintain autonomy, seniors often hire assistants to help them with a wide variety of tasks that may have become too laborious for them. Because each of their clients needs are different, senior companion assistants may perform just simple tasks for their clients, like picking up groceries and medicine or running errands once a week. Or they may be called upon to perform more complex tasks, like daily food preparation or house cleaning, or regular transportation to meetings and doctor appointments. Senior companion assistants are flexible to be able to meet a various assortment of needs to ensure that their clients can continue to remain within the comfort of their own homes.
