Soft Skills Training
|
Soft skills trainers are experts in sociology and human behavior who train their clients in the wide variety of skills necessary for positive human growth and interaction, such as communication, personal habits, friendliness, creativity, problem solving, flexibility, and general social graces.
Soft skills trainers help individuals increase what's known as an “Emotional Intelligence Quotient.” In order to thrive in personal and business life, certain skills must often be encouraged and nurtured, while at the same time other habits and outlooks on life must be discouraged. Soft skills trainers assist their clients in both these things, being experts in human behavior and healthy habit forming. They often encourage the formation of basic skills, such as listening and teamwork, which have a powerful effect once instituted. They may be hired by individual clients, or by companies to do comprehensive workshops and seminars in the workplace for an entire staff.
Similar to life coaches, soft skills trainers specialize in methods of personal development, and aren't generally counselors or advisors to the wide variety of life concerns that individuals often go to life coaches with.
