Stock and Bond Broker Services

Stock and bond brokers are financial services sales agents who deal in the acquisition of stocks, bonds, mutual funds, and other financial securities. Brokers are professionals who sell securities to individuals in the public at large. The broker discusses the terms of a trade with the investor, and if they come to an agreement, the broker then relays the information to a trader at the company headquarters where the shares of stock will be bought. Though brokers generally work for large organizations, they're often tasked with building their own customer and client base. Brokers can also be hired as consultants to advise businesses or individuals in specific or general investment strategies to achieve their financial goals, and improving their current investments. However, brokers are specifically prohibited from insider trading, and can only advise their clients under the terms of investment law and state and federal regulations.
