Virtual Assistant

Virtual assistants, or virtual office assistants, are entrepreneurs who give comprehensive professional, technical, administrative, and creative advice to persons generally from a home office or small business. They work as consultants, often doing tasks remotely via the internet, or by visiting their client briefly. Much like a business coach, virtual assistants are professionals who have expertise in troubleshooting and solving the common problems that often arise when building a business, and how to give effective advice on strategies for company growth, performance, and future goals. Though virtual assistants generally work only as consultants, they may also be hired to do limited business training for individuals or groups. Virtual assistants often work for startup companies and give them assistance in exchange for a certain percentage of company stock, helping new companies become successful and retaining partial ownership of them. This however, is subject to each individual contract, and subject to the needs of both clients and virtual assistants.
